Job Description:
Are you an approved electrician looking to advance your career in Hazardous Areas? We’re searching for a talented and ambitious professional to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in the hazardous area industry with fantastic career progression. Through our training academy, and as projects require you will have the opportunity to gain qualifications such as 2391 Test and Inspection, CompEx Ex01-Ex04, CompEx Ex05-Ex06 and CompEx Ex11.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of E & I systems in hazardous areas, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Safety Compliance: Conduct ATEX inspections and ensure all work meets relevant safety standards
- Technical Expertise: Utilise your technical knowledge to assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting E & I issues in hazardous environments
- Documentation: Utilising our ExTrace asset management inspection software to update and maintain accurate ATEX Inspection Records
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry developments and continuously enhance your skills through our training and professional development plan.
Qualifications:
- Approved Electrician Certification: Valid certification as an approved electrician
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and commitment to safety

CompEx Electricians
Job Title: CompEx Inspectors
Location: Ability to work around the UK (Monday – Friday)
Salary: Competitive Rates+ Benefits
Job Type: Full-time PAYE or LTD CIS Sub Contractor
Start Date: Immediate
E & I CompEx Inspectors/Installers required for various projects around the UK. PAYE positions available for immediate starts. Candidates to be located close to our Lincolnshire/Hull offices.
Qualifications:
- Full Electrical Apprenticeship
- CCSNG Safety Passport
- JIB card
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- 18th edition
- CompEx Ex01-Ex04
- Full UK Driving License
Sub Contractor requirements:
- LTD Company
- CIS registered (if not higher rate deductible)
- Company insurances
